Integration of NumberOK with video surveillance system increases security level

Intelligent video surveillance systems have become an everyday part of the life of companies and municipal institutions at all levels and throughout the world. Human security in a large stream of data depends on the care and quick response of the person. To minimize the subjective factor and risks, many video surveillance systems use software that in a few seconds recognizes alarm events (persons, vehicle plate numbers, etc.).

An example of such an intermediary between the video surveillance system and the person in terms of recognizing of vehicle plate numbers is NumberOK. Our partner company in Holland Telekonnekt has ensured the integration of NumberOK through the Exacqvision video surveillance system with the base of stolen local police cars.

How does it work? Exacqvision video surveillance system collects all video from cameras installed on roads and key intersections (direction of traffic, vehicle plate numbers, etc.) and transfers data to the FF Group software. NumberOK recognizes the vehicle plate number and sets the appropriate tags in the Exacqvision video stream. This allows the video surveillance system to find the number of the car quickly and check it with the police base for stolen cars. In a matter of seconds, alarm information about a stolen car appears on the dispatcher’s monitor.

The chance to find and detain the offender is increased by dozens of times.
